In 1995, I founded Poseidon Network Systems. For 28+ years, I built it into a successful IT infrastructure company serving 50+ SME clients across South Africa. In 2017, while still running Poseidon, I launched CleverCupIT. For 6+ years, I operated both simultaneously - maintaining 99.9% uptime, managing cloud migrations, deploying backup systems, and delivering enterprise IT support. Both businesses grew profitably. Technical delivery was excellent. Clients were happy. But I was drowning in operations. Manual reporting. Disconnected systems. Constant context-switching between companies.
