Dr. Tara Tiger Brown is a nature connection researcher and program designer with a PhD in Forestry & Environmental Stewardship from UBC. She is the founder of Sit Spot Club, a 10-minute daily nature practice licensed to workplaces and health practitioners, and Silent Trails, a soundscape assessment methodology for parks and land managers. She conducted Canada's first clinical study of forest bathing in urban settings, a randomized crossover trial with 106 participants that documented heart rate reduction and significant mood improvement.
