Sophie Smith is a nationally recognized college and career advising expert and the founder of College Contact, where she has supported more than 20,000 families through the college, career, and military admissions process. She started the company in her UVA dorm room in 2020, after a TikTok video drew a waitlist of students asking for help. That waitlist became College Contact, which now provides fractional college and career coaching to public school districts, extending how far counseling teams can follow through with every student.
