I'm a startup operator and coach who spent 10 years inside tech companies, building their foundations all the way to scaling high-growth teams. I've covered HR, Operations, Talent, and Project and Program Management. At three different startups, I hired great people with nowhere to grow, because none of us had a formal L&D budget. I ran a manual cross-company mentoring exchange once to fix that. It worked, but coordinating it by hand ate up all my time. A year later, an HR leader I was mentoring told me she had the same problem at her own company. That's what became PeopleTopics: an affordable, structured cross-company mentoring program built for HR and People leaders at 50-300 person companies who've outgrown ad hoc mentoring but can't justify a formal leadership program.
