Dr. Sanam Shamtobi, PhD, PMH-C, has been a clinical psychologist and supervisor for the last decade. She is the founder of The Mother Hood, a leading therapy practice focused on reproductive and maternal mental health in Los Angeles. Known for her ability to translate complex psychology into deeply human, actionable support, she works with women and birthing people navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum transitions, and the invisible load of parenthood. Blending advanced training in evidence-based therapies with her lived experience as a mother of two, Dr. Shamtobi is passionate about redefining how we care for parents’ mental health.
