I'm Rhys Humphrys, Co Founder of Jelly Digital, a New Zealand digital marketing agency that works exclusively with trades businesses. I run Google Ads, local SEO and website builds for electricians, plumbers, builders and other tradies, which means I see firsthand what small service businesses waste money on, and what actually books jobs. My current focus is AI search: how ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews are changing the way customers find local businesses, and what small businesses should do about it. I track AI-driven search behaviour across NZ small business websites and publish what I find. Based in Auckland, working with businesses across New Zealand.
