Michael Kane

Dr. Michael Kane, MD, is Chief Medical Officer at the Indiana Center for Recovery. He brings over 35 years of clinical experience in psychiatry, addiction medicine, and family-oriented behavioral care. Dr. Kane has worked to integrate medical and behavioral health services, reduce stigma around substance use and mental illness, and elevate standards of care across multiple treatment facility locations. He earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed residencies in both Psychiatry (1991) and Family Medicine (2000).
