Lloyd Major is the Founder and CEO of Halo Solutions, a public safety technology company transforming how organisations manage incidents, teams and operational risk. Before founding Halo, Lloyd spent nearly two decades in specialist policing, working across public order, major events and counter-terrorism. He planned and supported high-profile sporting events, festivals, protests and nationally significant operations, and served on Nottingham’s Safety Advisory Group for five years. Lloyd was the first Academic Lead for public events within the National Policing Events Gold Group, helping to develop national professional practice for policing events and contributing to the first Crime and Disorder chapter of the Purple Guide.
