Laurie Olsen

Laurie Olsen began her leadership career over two decades ago in a managerial position at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has since been the manager and then owner of her own company since 2001. She states that authentic women’s leadership is not just about the position you hold but the ability to lead assertively while also with compassion. She also says that strong communication skills and possessing emotional intelligence are critical soft skills to have no matter who you’re collaborating with or what industry you’re in. Laurie has been lucky enough to love what she does, and as the owner of a custom flag and banner company, she has acted as the Treasurer of the National Independent Flag Dealers Association and still sits on the board today.
