Lauren Joseph

I'm Dr. Lauren Joseph at LJ Academics. I'm a former professor turned academic writing and research coach. I help college and graduate students conquer their writing and research goals, from research papers to applications and dissertations. I also run GradLaunch, a live, small-group course helping individuals craft outstanding graduate school applications. I was born and raised in New York City, and I currently live in Austin, TX.​ For 10 years I was a professor of sociology at Penn State University, at the Schuylkill Campus, where I conducted qualitative research and taught courses on race, gender, sexuality, qualitative research, public policy, and criminal justice.
