Kraettli Epperson

Kraettli Epperson is CEO of Vigilant Aerospace, the leading developer of multi-sensor detect-and-avoid and airspace management software for uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS or drones). The company licensed two NASA patents to launch and won NASA's Commercial Invention of the Year Award in 2021. He was named an MVP for Innovation Foundry 11 at US Special Operations Command. He oversees Vigilant Aerospace's contracts with NASA, the FAA and the US Air Force and has participated in over 48 uncrewed aircraft flight tests. He is a frequent speaker on uncrewed aircraft technology including detect-and-avoid (DAA) and autonomous systems and served as a member of the FAA's BVLOS Aviation Rulemaking Committee and is on the ASTM F38 Committee on UAS technical standards.
