Kimmy Wu

Kimmy Wu is a New York City-based licensed psychotherapist and sex therapist, writer, and founder of Thirdspace. She specializes in the intersection of desire, cultural identity, and self-knowledge—exploring how systems of family, culture, and society shape not just behavior but the interior life: what people want, what they allow themselves to want, and why. A Taiwanese American clinician trained at Northwestern University, Kimmy writes the Substack Between Living & Dreaming and is at work on her first book, Exquisitely Human, a cultural and psychological examination of desire and selfhood. Her clinical work and writing have been featured in Psychotherapy Networker. She speaks and writes at the intersection of sex therapy, AAPI identity, and the politics of pleasure.
