Kathryn Starke is the founder and CEO of Creative Minds Publications, an award-winning publishing company that celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. She is the author of six books, national literacy consultant, reading specialist, and former inner-city elementary school teacher. Starke has a MS in literacy and culture and a BS in elementary education. She is the creator of the 10th annual Tackle Reading event supported by the National Football League and a featured speaker at the World Literacy Summit.
