Kate Rose

I'm the founder of Kate Rose Fine Jewelry, a one-person custom studio in Santa Monica specializing in heirloom and estate redesign. I work with people who inherited jewelry they love but never wear — taking apart rings, brooches, and boxes of unworn gold and rebuilding them into pieces that get put on in the morning. I'm a former high school teacher who grew up in Detroit, and I run the studio on a simple premise: jewelry should be worn, not stored. Much of my work comes through estate attorneys, wealth managers, and family advisors — the people families call first when a collection changes hands.
