As a lifelong automotive enthusiast, I grew up in an auto repair shop in China. After graduating from university, I worked in the auto parts foreign trade industry before founding my own business exporting Chinese vehicles. Having been involved with Chinese automobiles since 1998, I have a profound understanding of the industry's evolution. My most vivid memory is that in 2018 and earlier, anyone who spent over $15,000 on a BYD or Geely would be called a fool by their peers. Yet, by 2020, the BYD Han was achieving monthly sales of over 20,000 units at an average price exceeding $28,000. I am always eager to share my insights and perspectives on the automotive industry.
