For the past 10 years, I dedicated my career to mastering React and TypeScript—only to realize that Opus 4.6 writes decent code faster than I do. These days, I mostly vibe prompts into Claude Code, accept (or reject) its changes, and pretend I’m still in control. Occasionally, it spits out something truly awful, which is when I flex my human debugging skills to remind myself I still matter. AI can’t do everything yet—it doesn’t push back on bad ideas. It takes a human to recognize when something doesn’t make sense and call it out. If there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s knowing when to say “No.” No to stupid ideas—like pasting a ChatGPT-generated bio straight into my LinkedIn profile.
