John D. Hosler is a medieval historian and Professor of Military History at the Army Command and General Staff College. An award-winning scholar with 25+ years teaching experience, he has published 9 books, including a 2018 Financial Times and Times Literary Supplement “Book of the Year.” A dynamic and enthusiastic speaker possessing a keen ability to connect with audiences of all educational and interest levels, he has given 80+ lectures on a wide array of topics related to the intersection of medieval politics, religion, and warfare.
