John "Jack" Crist founded MaintenancePress on a premise he'd watched play out for two decades: most websites don't fail dramatically. They fail quietly. A plugin update times out mid-install and silently removes files. An optimizer starts preloading images the browser never uses. A payment form stops submitting on mobile only. None of it announces itself. The site still loads, the homepage still looks right, and the problem sits there for weeks until a customer mentions it, or until someone checks analytics and finds the leads stopped.
