I’m Jeff LaPonsie, LMSW, founder, president, and clinical director of Kalamazoo Child & Family Counseling in Southwest Michigan. I’m a clinical social worker and Western Michigan University instructor whose work focuses on helping children, teens, and families navigate emotional and behavioral challenges and find more shared joy. My areas of expertise include childhood trauma, parenting, anxiety, challenging behaviors, and parent-child relationships, with a particular focus on Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
