I’m the Managing Editor and Operator of The Broke Backpacker, a long-running adventure travel site for people who want to stretch their comfort zone. After years in professional services and the corporate world and never quite feeling like it fit, I’ve moved into something that’s simply more fun: working on a travel brand I love. In my spare time, I invest through Gold Creek Pond LLC in small businesses. I don’t have a strict industry thesis. Instead, I'm interested in situations where the buyer's passion and skill set, my experience, and the target's opportunities all line up well.
