I retired to France from the US in early 2025 with my wife. On our blog, France-FI, I write about our expat experience with our visas (VLS-TS Visitor), French healthcare, handling the US and French taxes, and our overall life in France. We are American early retirees who saved most of our income during our technology careers, and now have the flexibility to live in Europe without needing to find local employment or rely on remote jobs.
