Jason Skinrood

Jason Skinrood is a mortgage broker with Edge Home Finance, LLC (NMLS #180306) and a US Air Force veteran. He has worked in the mortgage industry for 20+ years, starting in 2003, and has closed more than 1,200 VA loans. VA lending is his focus: eligibility and entitlement, funding fees, occupancy rules, refinance options, and the files where a veteran was told no somewhere else and shouldn't have been. He is a third-generation veteran and holds a finance degree from Utah Valley University. As a broker rather than a banker, he places loans across 100+ wholesale lenders instead of one bank's product set. He also created the VA Loan Confidence Course, a free 42-video program that walks veterans through the process before they ever talk to a lender. Jason is licensed in 13 states.
