Hasan Alhamwi is the founder of Arabic All The Time, the first comprehensible input video library for Levantine Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic. A Syrian-born former engineering consultant based in Montreal, he learned Spanish purely through listening, with conversation practice added later, and then built the same kind of resource for his native language, which didn't exist. He has been a guest of Steve Kaufmann and other language-learning voices. His perspective comes from his own experience and from working with hundreds of Arabic learners, some of whom have reached conversational fluency within seven months. He speaks on language acquisition, comprehensible input, why most adults quit new languages in the first months, and how Arabic is actually learned.
