I run Thrifle, a consumer research site that tracks prices on more than 577,000 Amazon products and publishes the underlying datasets openly rather than keeping them. Recent work: I priced 1,649 products across Temu and Amazon on the same day and published every row, including the 389 I excluded and the reason for each. It reached number one on r/dataisbeautiful with more than 400,000 views. I also maintain a database of return policies for 2,254 US retailers, each graded A+ to D- on return window, restocking fees, who pays return shipping, receipt requirements and holiday extensions.
