Fabio Sobiecki

Fabio Sobiecki is a security architect with more than 20 years of cybersecurity experience across identity security, cloud security, and enterprise defense, built at Novell, CA Technologies, IBM, RSA Security, and Transmit Security. He holds the CISSP and is the author of Architecting Security: The Proven Path to ISSAP Certification. He founded the São Paulo chapter of ISC2 and served as its president from 2018 to 2024. Through Blue Team Academy, he now trains experienced IT professionals moving into defensive cybersecurity, arguing that most of them are further along than they think — the gap is direction, not capability.
