When I inherited my dad's interest in a Texas oil, I knew nothing about mineral rights. Learning how to transfer ownership and manage my mineral rights was like drinking from a firehose. The more I learned, the more I love it. I started Blue Mesa Minerals as an educational resource to help other mineral owners access information typically held tight by industry insiders. I wanted to level the playing field. Along the way, I started acquiring more minerals and eventually ventured into acquiring wind energy assets.
