I’m the founder of Istanbul Muse, an editorial travel guide dedicated to Istanbul’s culture, food, neighborhoods, hotels, shopping, and everyday life. Originally raised in Germany, I completed my studies there and later built and ran my own marketing agency. What was supposed to be a temporary move to Istanbul for a project turned into something much more permanent. More than six years later, I still call the city home. This background gives me a unique perspective on Istanbul. I experience the city both as someone who understands the expectations and challenges international travelers face and as someone who has built a life here.
