Dr Kipling Pedersen

Dr. Kipling Pedersen is a third-generation veterinarian and co-founder of VetsApp, a medical record platform built for both pet owners and clinicians. He earned his veterinary degree at the Royal Veterinary College in London, the world's top-ranked veterinary school, and spent four years as an associate veterinarian at Bond Vet in New York City, preceded by mixed practice, large animal work, and emergency/critical care at a specialty hospital. He has served as a veterinarian on the Mongol Derby, the Gaucho Derby, and the Iditarod, with clinical placements in Morocco, the UAE, Kyrgyzstan, Nicaragua, and Thailand. He is credentialed in wildlife capture and as a marine mammal medic. He now works on VetsApp full-time, focused on understanding AI's impact on the profession.
