Jeffrey J. Borckardt, PhD, is a clinical psychologist, NIH-funded researcher, and educator at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he is a Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry, Anesthesia, and Stomatology, Assistant Provost for Interprofessional Initiatives, and Director of the Division of BioBehavioral Medicine. He also directs the Team Science Program in MUSC's NIH-funded Clinical and Translational Science Award and leads the university's interprofessional education curriculum across all six of its colleges.
