I'm a Lecturer in Applied Biomechanics and Human Movement at Manchester Metropolitan University, and a support scientist for Great Britain's Paralympic swimming team. My research covers how people with neuromuscular conditions adapt to exercise, and how Para swimmers are classified so competition is fair. I worked on the World Para Swimming classification project, and my work is published in journals including Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Sports Medicine - Open, and Disability and Rehabilitation.
