Alicia Hawley-Bernardez, PhD, LMSW, joined the Worden family as an Associate Professor at Our Lady of the Lake University Worden School of Social Service in Fall 2017. She holds a doctorate from the University of Texas at Arlington, specializing in intimate partner violence. Alicia’s research interests include intimate partner violence, teen dating violence, crisis intervention, gender-based issues, and social work education.Alicia earned her BSW from Texas Christian University in 2009 and her MSSW from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2010.
