David Walter Hall

I am a playwright, screenwriter and indie film director. My award-winning debut feature Passing Through was released on Prime Video in the UK in 2025 and will be available internationally soon (as of Dec 2025). I was a novice when I shot the film, working with an Emmy-winning cinematographer and Olivier-winning actor Mark Little (well known from Neighobours). It was an incredible example of learning on the job. Another interesting fact about the shoot is that one of the other stars in the film, Angela Koo, was my ex-partner when we made it, although we'd still been together when I was writing it. Although we broke up, after 12 years together, we went ahead and shot the film together, and are friends to this day.
