Cristina Lugo

I am an eclectic, creative and collaborative psychotherapist with a background in community organizing and expressive arts. I have worked in the field of social work for the past 15 years with many populations from incarcerated women to unhoused youth, from schools and clinics on the east and west coast in English and in Spanish. I am strongly influenced by my work in the community as an organizer in multiple grassroots organizations. I have participated in social justice campaigns, fundraising efforts and created workshops and groups to strengthen and empower my community. In my therapeutic sessions with youth, adults and families, I work to inspire transformation and growth in my clients with the belief that self liberation is within reach for all of us.
