My professional background spans brands such as Represent Clothing, Zara, Maserati, and Harrods. Through my multicultural, multifaith marriage, I became immersed in Islamic traditions that were new to me, and with that came a subtle tension - navigating spaces where I deeply respected the culture, yet felt my own identity was absent from the clothing available to me.
