Calogero Nicosia

I am a Belgian independent researcher, composer and founder of Mythic Harmonies, a project exploring Norse mythology, Old Norse language and Viking Age culture through evidence-led articles and original music. My work clearly separates surviving medieval sources, later interpretation and modern artistic reconstruction, with transparent citations and source notes. I can contribute informed commentary on Norse myths and symbols, contradictions between medieval sources, responsible historical storytelling, Old Norse in songwriting, research-based creative practice, and the limits of reconstructing music that has not survived. I am based in Verviers, Belgium, and available for written interviews, features, podcasts and editorial collaborations.
