Avi Perera

Avi Perera is an AI governance researcher, consultant, and the founder of the intelligence and governance platform SovDash. Specializing in the ethical and legal implications of emerging technologies, he translates technical complexity into global policy. His expertise spans international humanitarian law, automated warfare, algorithmic accountability, and the human rights impacts of proprietary surveillance platforms. A UN-recognized scholar, Avi has presented peer-reviewed research at the inaugural UN Global Conference on AI, Security, and Ethics in Geneva. He studied Law (LLB) at the University of Buckingham and read International Relations at the University of Cambridge.
