Austin Bowen

My name's Austin Bowen. I grew up in Kalispell, Montana, normal family, my mom was a nurse, my dad did construction. When 2008 hit, it hit my dad's side of things hard. Right in the middle of that, he picked up Phil Town's book on investing and told me I should read it too. I was a junior in high school. That was the start of everything. My dad and I started investing together in 2010. I thought I was just really good at it. Turns out I'd started at one of the best moments in the market in the last hundred years. After high school I joined the Air Force and spent seven years as a combat controller, including two deployments to Afghanistan.
