Asher Milgate

Asher's collaborative approach has seen him exhibit solo and group exhibitions nationally and commissioned by all levels of government which includes a permanent exhibition of 30 works. Asher works in solidarity with First Nation communities throughout the country. Blak Douglas (Archibald Winner) commissioned 10 portraits for projection onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge for 2022 NYE celebration. Asher has participated in several artist residencies along side some Australia's leading artist and is working on new solo show for an exhibition with Art Atrium.At the centre of Asher's work is seeking and finding the person - uncovering the truth of who they are so they can be seen - heard -understood.
