I build sourcing software for recruiters — tools that search many sources at once and return a shortlist with the reasoning attached, rather than a longer list of candidates. I can speak to: why most sourcing tools surface the wrong people and what that costs a hiring team; the gap between advertised and actual pricing in recruiting software; what the EU AI Act's high-risk classification means for companies hiring in Europe from December 2027; and who is legally the data controller for candidate data a tool finds on its own. I prefer giving reporters a concrete number over a general opinion, including when the number is unflattering to us.
