I started my career in the early 1990s, when PR was built on relationships, strategy, and results, not trends and recycled templates. I’m the co-founder of Women in PR, one of the largest global communities for PR professionals. Building it gave me a front-row view of how this industry actually works, and where it fails people, especially the overreliance on retainers.
