Director of External Relations at Safe Sitter, Inc., the only national nonprofit solely dedicated to building safer communities with programs in home alone safety, babysitting training, and child care skills.
Amanda is a proud Safe Sitter® graduate and joined the Safe Sitter® team in January of 2013. She earned a B.A. in Marketing from Cedarville University where a class in nonprofit marketing sparked a career passion as it combined her love of marketing with her admiration for organizations that make a difference. Founded in 1980, Safe Sitter® was created by Dr. Patricia A. Keener to teach young teens lifesaving skills from their very first babysitting job. What began as a single course in response to a tragedy, grew into a nonprofit organization with nearly 3,000 Instructors. Safe Sitter® programs continue to build safer communities with courses that prepare individuals to provide the best and safest care for young children.
